Who uses our crushed ice

  • Cocktail bars and pubs – juleps, mojitos, frozen serves and bar wells.
  • Restaurants and caterers – drinks service, chilled displays and buffets.
  • Fish counters and food production – crushed ice packs around seafood and keeps displays cold.
  • Events, festivals and mobile bars – fills ice baths and drinks tubs fast.
  • House parties and weddings – chill bottles and cans in a bucket or cooler.

Crushed ice or cube ice?

Crushed ice chills drinks and food faster because more ice touches the surface, which makes it the choice for cocktails, seafood displays and cooling bottles quickly. Cube ice melts more slowly, so it suits drinks served over ice and long events. Both are £10 per 12kg bag, and you can mix them in one order. See our guide to cube vs crushed vs block ice.

How much crushed ice do I need?

As a rough guide, a 12kg bag fills several standard ice buckets. For parties, plan more ice than you think you need, especially in warm weather. Our party ice guide gives quantities by number of guests.
